The x51 is terrible, should be taken off the market. I've had this alienware for coming onto 3 years, and I've had absolutely no problems until recently, and restoring my computer to factory default fixed it. Other than that I can run /pretty much/ every game perfectly fine, I run BF3 ultra in 64 man servers, DayZ on High, etc. It puts strain on my computer obviously, but it works. the only good thing about the x51 is that its compacted but its just rubbish but next year im getting the aurora *fingers crosssed* and your pc sounds absolutely beast

Just recently my computer started "bluescreening", I was playing BF3 and I let my CPU get to 104 Celsius, and it blue screened, it kept doing that every day or two afterwards, so I restored. It stopped doing it. I also put new thermal paste on the CPU. But I've over clocked the GPU to 3.3ghz (with turbo boost) with the alienware bios overclocking tool, I don't know why Speccy and my desktop information tool still say it's 2.3 though ;( but my GPU is also overclocked to 975mhz clock and 2800mhz memory clock. It gets pretty hot sometimes though. I know overclocking on a laptop is a very stupid thing to do, but I've got 3 years out of it. I suspect I'll get another 2-3 out of it even overclocked. By then I should have enough to buy whatever is out then.
