7 Days To die! The new Crafting Survival Horror Game!

Hey fellow HackForums member!

Today I just wanted to introduce you all to a new game called 7 Days To Die. This game is kind of like minecraft when it comes to the crafting system, building mechanics and it has a bit of blocky look to it. The main difference with this game is the zombies. Have you ever played Minecraft and wanted the AI enemies to be stronger in when playing solo simply because the game get's boring after a while and you have nothing to do anymore? Then this is the game for you. Here the zombies are dangerous! At day they walk slow and do/take less damage, but at night the hordes go wild and start running after you. There are different types of zombies. The spider zombies (climb up walls), bloat zombies and many types of normal zombies as well. What makes the zombies in this game so much more dangerous than the ones in minecraft however, is the amount of zombies, and the fact that they can break through anything! while you stand up on your defensive wall they will be doing anything in their power to strike through you gates with pure force! They can destroy any building material but some take a lot longer than others. reinforce the walls, and set up traps to survive the night!

There are diffferent modes, but the main mode that I will be talking about is the survival mode. In this mode you try to survive for as many days as possible. You could say it's a wave-based mode. The zombies become more aggresive/dangerous, and more of them spawn every night. You start of with nothing and scavange through the world to find items you craft into useable things such as traps, weapons and building materials. Make a base, hell make a fricking castle! and fight off the zombies as they come running in the night.

This game can be played solo, CO-OP, or Multiplayer. You can play with PVP on or off. Personally I haven't tried PVP yet because having to deal with the zombies is more than enough for me. The game is currently in Alpha, so a lot more features will come as the game developes. I have the game and I gotta say I like it already. I can only imagine have good it will become in the end. The game is on 15% sale on steam until the 2nd of january. The game was funded by kickstarter: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/...-survival-game They have pledged $507,612 and their goal was only $200,000.

If any of you happen to buy the game or have already done so, you are very much welcome to join my game! I will provide you with shelter, weapons, food and drinks! Beaware though, I am at day 21 and the server is on warrior difficulty (difficulty 4/5). I have set the 24 hour cycle to take 40 real life minutes. 30 minutes on warrior diff was simply too hard for me.
