    Spoiler:
    I see a jumper in a shop for £97
I borrow £50 off my mum and £50 off my dad
I buy the jumper and get £3 change
I give £1 to my mum so I owe her £49
I give £1 to my dad so I owe him £49
I keep £1 for myself BUT

£49+£49+£1=£99 so where is the other £1?

Moral of the story- Dont lend Harambae 50$ because he will keep some of it and then try to add up a missing amount of your money.

You don't count the dollar you kept.

    49+49=98
    49+49-1=97

Subtract the dollar you have and it'll be 97, the amount you originally paid.

So if you didn't count the original dollar you kept, and did the math correctly it'd look like this.

    50+50=100
    100-97=3
    3-1 ( Mom's Dollar )=2
    2-1 ( Dad's Dollar) =1
    1 Dollar for you
